Friday Night at Shandies!

Tonight we're featuring Moroccan Chicken served on a bed of vegetable cous cous and a side of orange braised asparagus.  It's as beautiful to look at as it is to eat! 

Also, visit our newest bartender, Joaquin.  He'll be debuting his bartending skills at the main bar tonight!

Happy New Year!

Why does I will Survive keep running through my head? 

It's been quite a year at Shandies.  Not always as smooth as I would have hoped, but it keeps getting better.  Employees have come and gone.  Menus have come and gone.  But, one thing has remained constant.  Karla and I are determined to make it right! 

If it's been a while since you've paid us a visit,  it's definitely safe to come back.  The meatloaf is absolutely incredible, and we have been getting great compliments on our steaks.  Our sandwich selection has expanded to fourteen, with new additions coming in the new year. 

And while most of the faces are new, we do have a solid core of employees who have hung in through it all.  I am very proud of our staff right now.

Karla and I have been working on Menu updates for the new year.  The ever popular French Dip will become a staple, as well as the New York strip with mushroom and sherry cream sauce. 

We'll be making Wine Down Wednesday a monthly event.  You'll notice a link near the top of the blog to that event with a list of dates .   As we approach each date we'll update that page with the wine and appetizer pairings for the evening.  

Thanks so much for your continued support.  We can't wait to see you at Shandies in 2012.  May the new year hold as many blessings for you as we've experienced in 2011.
